Toyocat DMCH catalyst C-8 is a tertiary amine catalyst. It is a strong base that is soluble in water and most organic solvents. Due to its excellent properties and strong gel activity, it can be used in a variety of foam applications.

When Toyocat DMCH catalyst C-8 is used as the main catalyst in PUR, the recommended dosage is 1 to 5 php.

Product Application

The main use of Toyocat DMCH is as a catalyst for rigid polyurethane foam.

Toyocat DMCH is a medium active amine catalyst with low viscosity, which is used for refrigerator rigid foam, plate, spraying, and on-site injection of polyurethane rigid foam. The catalyst has a catalytic effect on both gel and foam, providing a more balanced catalytic performance for the foaming reaction and gel reaction of hard bubbles, it is stronger for the reaction of water and isocyanate (foaming reaction), and also has a moderate catalytic activity for the reaction of polyols and isocyanate, it is a strong initial catalyst for foam reaction. In addition to being used for hard bubbles, it can also be used as an auxiliary catalyst for molding soft bubbles and semi-hard bubbles.

Toyocat DMCH is especially suitable for the preparation of two-component system, can be dissolved in a variety of hard foam polyols and additives, in the combination of materials, adjustable, and can be stored for a long time.





Disclosure treatment

Stop leaks as much as possible while ensuring safety. If a minor leak is found, treat it with sand or other absorbent material and place it in a clean, dry container for subsequent treatment. If a large amount of leakage occurs, the leaked material should be collected for subsequent treatment. 200KG/ barrel storage: It is recommended to store in a dry and cool area with proper ventilation. Do not inhale dust and avoid contact between skin and mucous membrane. Smoking, eating and drinking are prohibited in the workplace. Shower and change after work. Store contaminated clothes separately and use them after washing. Practice good hygiene.
