Henkel starts local production of Loctite polyurethane (PUR) adhesives in Australia

Latest: Henkel, the global leader in the adhesives market, expects to start producing Loctite polyurethane (PUR) adhesives in Australia from the first half of 2023. The adhesives will be produced in Kilsyth, Victoria, serving the engineered wood industry across Australia and New Zealand.

Adhesives experts at Henkel’s innovation and application labs in Sydney and Auckland help customers explore ways to speed time-to-market and optimize their own production processes to develop engineered wood solutions. With Loctite
Manufactured in Australia by Purbond, the production of the adhesive can be tailored to specific performance requirements, such as fire resistance and use with modified wood.
