CJ Bio is a pioneer in the development of PHA and is the world’s first and only producer of amorphous PHA that has been awarded a TUV
OK certification for industrial and domestic composting, soil biodegradation and marine biodegradation. It’s considered “home compostable,” which means it doesn’t require specialized equipment or high temperatures to degrade completely.

CJ Bio has started producing amorphous PHA at its manufacturing facility in Pasuruan, Indonesia, and plans to increase production to meet anticipated demand. Branded PHACT® Marine Biodegradable Polymer, CJ Bio’s amorphous PHA is a softer, more elastic version of PHA with a fundamentally different approach to the crystalline or semi-crystalline forms that currently dominate the PHA market. performance characteristics. The first product in this new range is PHACT
A1000P, it is now used as a modifier for other compostable polymers and biopolymers to improve functional and processing characteristics and to enable faster biodegradation or composting rates in these products.
