Product features:
HY-34 is a new kind of organic clay with the properties of easy dispersion and high thixotropy. It can be used in low to medium and same high polar systems. With only a small amount of activator and fast shearing, it can disperse. And it has advantageous properties of anti-sediment and anti- sagging.

Use method:
HY-34 can disperse and dissolve in the organic solvent and resin system at normal atmospheric temperature.And the viscosity of the system can be rapidly increased and the system has the property of thixotropy.To increase its properties of dispersion and thickening,it needs fast shearing and polar additive while dispersing. The available polar activators are as follows:propylene carbonate, methanollwater(95/5),ethanollwater(95/5)or acetone.The proper amount of polar activator can be adjusted according to different systems. Generally, the amount of polar activator is 20-40% of organic bentonite.It can be directly added or used as pre-gel.You can decide which addition method is better through test.

Dosage:
The amount of HY-34 is usually 0.2-2.0% of the system(by weight).
Package and storage:
The package consists of external package(kraft paper bag)and internal package(polyethylene film bag).The value bag is also available and the weight is usually 25 ± 0.25Kg.The package can also be customized. If stored in dry place and kept packaged(at the temperature of 0°C-3 0 °C),the organic bentonite is effective within 36 months.
