application:
potassium nitrate is used to make gunpowder, to produce purple spark in fireworks. used in the
manufacture of ceramic glaze and medicine in ceramic industry. used as a glass clarifier. used in the
manufacture of automobile lamp glass shell, optical glass kinescope and glass shell, etc. in
agriculture field, it can be used as compound fertilizer for crops. used for the production of penicillin
potassium, rifampicin in pharmaceutical industry. potassium nitrate is also used in the food industry
as pigment, preservatives.

recommended handling
all personnel handling this material must handle it as an industrial chemical, wearing protective
equipment and observing the precautions as described in the material safety data sheet (msds). packaging and storage
packed in 25kg pp woven bag or drum. store in dry, well-ventilated area. keep container closed. keep away from heat, sparks and flames. store away from incompatibles. follow safe warehousing practices regarding palletizing, banding, shrink-wrapping and /or stacking.
