Catalyst MB20

Overview:

Product name: Organic Bismuth Catalyst MB20

Alias: MB20, bismuth metal carboxylate catalyst, organic bismuth catalyst MB20, catalyst MB20, metal catalyst MB20

Product description: Organic bismuth catalyst MB20 for flexible polyurethane foam, rigid foam and CASE field

MB20 catalyst is a carboxylate based on organic bismuth. As a co-catalyst, MB20 catalyst can be used together with polyurethane tertiary amine catalyst to accelerate the reaction and curing of urethane (polyol-isocyanate). MB20 catalyst is a substitute for organotin catalyst in soft block sponge, high-density soft foam, sprayed hard foam, microporous elastomer and rigid foam system.

Product usage:

MB20 is a bismuth metal carboxylate catalyst, which can be used as a co-catalyst for tertiary amines to accelerate the reaction and curing of urethane;

MB20 can be used to replace the tin metal catalyst in flexible slabstock foam, high-density flexible foam, spray foam, microcellular foam, and rigid foam systems.

Features:

Strong gel polyurethane organic bismuth catalyst

In the case of low dosage, it exhibits delayed viscosity at the front end while promoting excellent curing at the back end

Free of mercury, lead and dibutyltin

Low volatility, low odor

Compatible with common rigid and soft foam polyols

Recommendations:

MB20 catalyst can be used to make rigid foams, microcellular elastomers and high-density flexible polyurethane foams to replace traditional metal catalysts based on dibutyltin, lead or mercury. MB20 catalyst can improve the problem of too long curing time caused by only using amine catalyst, and synergistically combine with other polyurethane amine catalysts to obtain additional activity, achieve rapid curing, and has excellent foam performance, and does not contain dibutyltin.

The industries where MB20 catalyst can be applied also include high-density structural rigid foam, rigid spraying rigid foam, rigid foam sandwich board, sandwich board, reaction injection molding (RIM ) And self-skinning foam.

Shelf Life:

Keep it unopened for two years

Storage and transportation:

Should be sealed and stored in a dry, cool and ventilated warehouse

Packaging:

200KG/bucket Storage: It is recommended to store in a dry and cool area with proper ventilation. After the original packaging, please fasten the packaging cover as soon as possible to prevent the product performance from being mixed with other substances such as waterproof grade. Store in a cool, dry place, keep the container tightly closed, and avoid contact with oxides. Do not inhale dust and avoid contact with skin and mucous membranes. Smoking, eating and drinking are prohibited in the workplace. After work, take a shower and change clothes. Store contaminated clothes separately and use them after washing. Maintain good hygiene habits. The company recommends that all polyurethane catalysts be stored in a dry and cool place with proper ventilation. All storage containers must be well sealed to avoid contact with water or other influential substances, as this may change the performance of the product in use. The storage temperature is 10°C to 30°C. Lower or higher temperatures are inappropriate and should be avoided as much as possible.
